SOME DETAILS AND HISTORY

A snug cottage situated in the town of Middleton-in-Teesdale, hidden away in the old courtyard of the Teesdale Hotel, which was originally a coaching inn with stables for 32 horses. 

The cottage is ideally located for exploring the NorthPennines and is close to the border with Cumbria.  There are many local walks that can be accessed from the cottage. Middleton-in-Teesdale has a number of pubs, restaurants and cafés within walking distance of the cottage. There is also a branch of the Co-op nearby. 

Mews Cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a quiet getaway and will sleep up to five people. The cottage is available for a minimum of three nights throughout the year. Please note vaping and smoking is not allowed in the cottage.
